Petals

Little Farm ° Big Dreams

Local flowers last longer, smell better, and offer greater variety, they are truly the Cadillac of cut flowers! Here at Petals & Papers our flowers are grown using organic and sustainable methods. We cultivate many different varieties of both annuals and perennials including dahlias, lisianthus, sunflowers, zinnias, daffodils, tulips, bells of Ireland and more. We start each of our cut flower seedlings, all without a heated greenhouse.

Currently, the U.S. flower industry imports more than 80% of its flowers. These flowers are grown overseas under poor labor conditions and with harsh chemicals. By the time these flowers reach you they are no longer fresh, have traveled hundreds of miles, and have no real connection as to where they came from or who grew them.

At Petals & Papers, we want to bring flower cultivation back into our hands. Our flowers are never grown with chemicals, always freshly harvested, locally and sustainably grown in LaVeta, Colorado, with deep joy and gratitude for the land we steward. We encourage you to revel in the beauty and bury your face in all the scents and colors of our blooms grown right here at the base of the majestic Spanish Peaks.

We are proud to be members of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers (ASCFG) and promoters of the “slow flowers” movement in the United States. Our mission is to bring you the freshest organically grown local blooms available from Spring till Autumn.

Thank-you for using our Locally Grown Flowers!
